I watched a documentary on Gram Parsons yesterday which I got from Netflix. He loved Joshua Tree NP and died back in 1973 while overindulging in alcohol and drugs at the Joshua Tree Inn . There was a bizarre incident where his manager stole his body and cremated it in the park near Cap Rock. But anyway it reminded me of our trip there.
